ASCE OTC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner
OTC Papers Honored with Induction into ASCE Hall of Fame Since its start, more than 10,000 papers have been presented at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). Some of the civil engineering papers provided the industry with innovation, vision, direction and lasting impact on the design, construction or installation of the offshore infrastructure. Many have straddled the divides to become an integral part of the design process of other categories of structures such as buildings and bridges. Even though many of these papers were presented at OTC conferences thirty or more years ago, they still form the core of current practice worldwide.
To honor the extraordinary papers which form the core of current practice throughout the world, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has initiated the OTC Hall of Fame. Nine papers will be inducted in this inaugural year at a gala dinner during the 2006 OTC. Please join us at this special event.
